As a more practical way to discover keywords, we will introduce a method to compare the keywords that your site is targeting with those of multiple competing sites. First, enter your site's URL in "Site Explorer". Click "Content gap" on the left menu bar. A field for entering URLs will appear, so enter up to 10 URLs of competing sites you want to compare. Immediately below there is a field where you can enter the URL of your site. If you enter the URL of your site in "Site Explorer" and move to "Content gap", it will be entered automatically, but be sure to check it before using it. By doing so, you will be able to see a list of keywords that are displayed in the top 10 on competing sites that you entered, but that your site is not.
This is a highly recommended method as it allows you to compare your site with Oman Phone Number Data competitors' sites and find out which keywords and categories are weak. The trick here is to make detailed settings as follows. Uncheck "At least one target must rank in the top 10" By configuring the settings above, you will be able to see even keywords that are not displayed in the top 10 on competing sites. Change the "target" setting depending on the number of keywords displayed. "Target" is a setting to narrow down keywords. You can narrow down the displayed keywords by ``how many competing sites are they ranking for?'' For example, if you check "1 target", the keyword will be displayed if at least one of the competing sites you entered the URL for is ranked.
Also, if you check "2 targets", keywords that are ranked by two or more sites among the competing sites you entered the URL for will be displayed. If there are too many keywords displayed, you can narrow it down to keywords that multiple competing sites have created pages for. By downloading the displayed keywords as a CSV file and assigning a priority score based on the rankings of competing sites and search volume, you will be able to find keywords that you should take action on one after another. The following article introduces the items you should look for in a competitive analysis and other tools you can use.
